Come join us for the next installment of the VisionSGV Film and Speaker Series featuring internationally-recognized permaculture teacher Penny Livingston. After enjoying a locally focused meal accompanied by lively music, Penny will be discussing how farms can provide for the needs of humans while benefitting wildlife and the environment, as well as leading a community visioning process to create win-win solutions to land use issues in a community with multiple interests.
Our featured speaker will be Juliana Birnbaum who, along with co-author Louis Fox, wrote the book Sustainable [R]evolution: Permaculture in Ecovillages, Urban Farms and Communities Worldwide. They studied 60 inspiring design sites around the globe that show us what the future could look like in our own backyards.
