Music, Food, and Fun!
After enjoying a home-cooked meal accompanied by lively fiddle music, there will be a presentation of thought-provoking, community-based approaches to land use using permaculture practices that could be duplicated in the San Geronimo Valley. Whether you are a backyard gardener, lover of healthy foods, or just someone who wants to live sustainability in harmony with nature, you will be stimulated to learn how others have worked within living systems to grow both food and community
Our featured speaker will be Juliana Birnbaum who, along with co-author Louis Fox, wrote the book Sustainable [R]evolution: Permaculture in Ecovillages, Urban Farms and Communities Worldwide. They studied 60 inspiring design sites around the globe that show us what the future could look like in our own backyards.
